Oh pooo ~ (PIOG)

I finally called my doctor today and spoke to the RN. I am in another flare --- been having some ongoing issues for about 6 weeks but nothing that screamed "FLARE" until this week. After a long talk trying to decipher the pain, it appears I am having some myoclonus, spasticity issues - combined with muscle weakness and fatigue and it's a flare. I will be treated over the weekned for the pain and start a 3 day course of IVSM on monday.

The good news: The flare isn't horrible. In fact, it took me a bit to determine. :) Gotta find the silver lining. :) ;)

Thank you both - I am having some doubts on the IVSM but think I need to just suck it up since it's pretty clear I am not well. Blah ~

Barb,
Sooo sorry you are going thru another flare.:(
I'll be lifting you in prayer and praying that the Lord will shorten it and give you quick recovery time with the IVSM treatments and then your energy will be back as I know you need it.

Get rest and do not overdo it.
Wishing you happy feel good days ahead!:)

Hugs and blessings,
Tammy:)

I'll go look right after I post this...

I take the 3 to 5 day IVSM (IV Solu Medrol) --- I took 5 days last February and felt pretty out of it by day 4. This time will be 3 days. It should be enough to get me over this hump.

POO is right....if my symptoms do not clear up I need to call my doc back....Today makes a week and I am afraid they are still lingering...I had asked about it being the extreme heat we had last week and the fact I was sooooooooooooooo STRESSED  last week. He said the heat would do it...if they were still around in a week to call back for follow up....I guess he is thinking flare....

I will call him Monday...I am on vacation Monday...dam it..

I hope you feel better - hey sidesteps can you check out my post on MS forum - you may have some input for me.
