ROFLMAO!
'Lesionese'!!!
A friend was over for supper last night. I was quite shocked when she told me that my speech and cognition used to be so much worse. (We attributed improvement to natural recovery from stroke-type event and the cerebral oedema that wasn't treated...)
But, poor woman! She had to suffer my worst burbling as did the family.
Meanwhile, I'm working on springing back to ifee...
HAHAHAHAA...love it!
Thanks Theresa,
I knew someone would understand..;o)
I always wanted to learn a new language... (I was thnking more like Spanish but hey whatever) LOL

me neither..I love the summer really but I like the spring...I am tired of the white stuff...I can't wait to see all my plants come back to ifee and start popping out of thee ground..i love to sit on my deck and have my morning shot of caffeine with my pooch and listen to the birds with the sun on my face..peaceful..quiet and tranquil...
I love watching things wake up n the spring..my hubby also has a veggie garden..he loves planting ..I'm learning but I do my own planting in my garden with flowers and other stuff.
Yay spring.

I love flowers and gardening! I actually have a box garden in the back yard..I grow various vegies and plants/flowers. I have Bamboo too.... But here we have to hold off on doing too much until after Mothers Day because we often get a late hard freeze...
I do have an herb garden in the kitchen. We put in one of the greenhouse window things and I friggin love it. Fresh herbs are the best!
Summer Breeze makes me feel fine
Blown' through the jasmine in my mind......
Seals & Croft....
So I pushed it to summer.....lol

Your garden sounds so wonderful Charley - I wish you many happy days out there ;-) even if you're 'only' the forewoman directing the action!
Good thread idea Stormy! I actually love the autumn and winter. I looooove snow andthe freezing cold. ;-O It started snowing here again this afternoon...it made me feel so good, seeing all those plump, pristine flakes drifting past the window. I hope it pitches during the night and we wake up to a foot of the white stuff everywhere...****
Favourite things about Spring? I think it has to be flowers...I love seeing the little baby daffs and snowdrops coming up, and especially all the bluebells in our grass later on in Spring. I used to adore planting up for summer and autumn flowering in my little patch. We have a 50 acre wooded area over our back wall - it's a joy to see the trees bursting into life again with all that soul-salving greenery...
(I'll go now before I start wuoting Wordsworth and getting all moist eyed....hahahaha!)
We have had such an unusual winter. It's been fairly decent at least for Feb. We've missed the big storms and it feels like spring. Imagine 40º in Maine in Feb! Our veggie garden is out in the field behind the house and I find myself thinking about planting already. My husband is taking a master gardeners course and that's been exciting. I had been thinking about doing that but then had to laugh..me who has trouble, somedays, remembering where I put my glasses. I think my brain isn't up to it right now.
We both have a great love for the earth and for all that it has given us and thinking about next summer's garden is a real joy. Who knows we might just become farmers. We'll have to make the path between the rows of veggies a bit wider to accommodate my walker. I just got a very wide umbrella that clips on it so I'm hoping I can stay out longer in the garden this year. I'd love to have raised beds but that might have to wait a bit.
We also have one garden that is only for wild flowers. We never know what will come up in it each year and that's a good thing for us.
Thanks for starting this. Thinking and writing about our garden has put me in a very good mood, hugs, Charley
