Hi guys,

I am back from my training..whheewww..done with that.. I missed you all. I did hear Binx made out well with her surgery..I am so glad to hear that! How are you folks doing?
I have been dealing with some issues on my face. Sensations of numbness on left side of nose (like I just got a shot of novicaine), prickling/burning sensation around eye and up cheek on left side and a numb spot on right upper lip...now my left eye is burning ...It sort of feels like I got slapped across the face..stinging feeling and sore at same time.


and nope.....no migraine to speak of......Any thoughts on this?????

Hey Binx,

No..not like this...I have had the numbness in side of nose but always came and went nd never thought alot about it..mentioned it once when going to chiro...the numbness on right upper lip (it like a little spot) comes and goes...again never put muchnto it..it's the stinging that's freak'n me out only on left side like being slapped or sunburned...hard to explain..I check with pharmacy on med side effects and she said they would not do this...

glad to know you made it through your training and that you are back on the board.  i'm sorry to hear about the facial numbness/tingling--have you experienced this before?

i agree with maria--maybe all the stress surrounding your out-of-town travel and your training brought on a little exacerbation.  how are you feeling today?

my presence here has been fairly limited, but i'm hoping to check in a little more regularly.

Glad to have you back, sorry you are having face pains I hope they pass quickly.
It does sound like nerve pain which is not pleasant.

Hi jibby glad the training went well.

I wonder if the stress of the training has brought on a mini relapse your symptoms you are having now I have had usually when I am going through a relapse...or threatening one. Its all nerve related.

Oh binxy isnt doing so well she had DVT at weekend I put a message on the forum with an update. She is a bit worried and anxious right now bless.

Hey Jibs!, Good to have you back and sorry for the new symptoms.

As to thoughts, I think I'm too tired to have any intelligent ones...
I can tell you that I have these same sensations, but much less so since I started taking the gabapentin.
