So sorry to hear of the death in your family.  That is always a tough blow, and on top of illness and fatigue, it must be hard to process. Pace yourself and take care of yourself.

Are you out of danger from nearby fires now? We know people in Co Springs who are nervously watching the horizon right now.

Hi Val.
I know how it is, as  my younger brother and mom passed on earlier this year.
The cultural and religious negative connotation of these events, do not do any justice to help us process this better.
One has to see this as passing on from the matter form to the spirit form.
Of course the feelings of loss and the grief must be expressed, so one can move on from there. Bottled up, such emotions, staying unexpressed, create a damaging energetic imbalance with negative consequences.
Please accept my condolences and may the Lord give you the strength to go through this difficult time in your life., with more ease, understanding and acceptance.
God Bless!
Niko

I AM guilty of hibernating. We had an unexpected death in the family and it hit me really hard. Grief really does tend to make me hibernate, so I've done a lot of sleeping and escapist reading to get a break from my emotions. I have to agree with illinwithoutacause, I am afraid of what catastrophe may be next!

It has been nauseatingly hot here, high 90's to over 100 for nearly a week with no end in sight. I've tried to stay out of it, but life tends to get in the way of good intentions and the constant cycle of overheat/recovery is adding to my hibernation tendencies.

I have been having more eye pain again, too. I am not sure if it is from too much reading, stress/relapse or what. I missed my appointment with the neuro ophthalmologist due to the death in the family and am now on a waiting list hoping for something sooner than mid-August.

I was good to hear what everyone is up to.

Heya Tammy!

We went to Vegas. It was actually quite relaxing since we've been there a bit and don't tend over due it.

My job change was my choice. I was offered a position that was closer to home and less stress but then, once I started, offered a management position a little further away but quite enough benefits to be worth it. It seems to have been really good timing. His hand at work I do believe. :)

I am taking care of myself. I am just a little over tired the last few days so I am taking it easy and going to bed a little earlier.

The reading is hard on my eyes. They are quite blood shot from the stress of it but it seems that is a side affect anyway from the ON and other damage I have. It's one thing that hasn't much improved to my sadness. Everything else seems to get better.

How are you?

Life has taken over my medical issues. LOL

Vacation, job loss (husband), job change (me) and kids getting out school...and sucked in by a good book (Fifty Shades... naughty!)

I was also feeling a little better and thought I'd take advantage by working out and eating better (to my dismay without losing weight. /sigh ;)

I am not hibernating...but wish I was as I am a little bit exhausted from all the above.

Hi everyone.
Back from my trip in Greece after3 weeks +.
It was all smooth but sad, but it did bring
me to a place of calm as closure has this effect when dealing with the loss of loved ones.
I was near the sea and this was a blessing when the temperature at times was in the high 30s Celsius, that around 100 Fahrenheit I guess.
Here in Toronto when I got in last night it was 34 Celsius plus the humidex factor.
Well back to work next week. It might feel strange, as I have been away longer than I have worked so far this year.
Good news for me and hopefully for a lot of other people.
I'm getting into 2 new programs for wellness, one is a licence for something
called light band or hypno band for serious weight loss without surgery
and I'm looking at doing" True Balance" (Sonia Choquette) training for conducting workshops and possibly doing a translation if I can negotiate this with the publishing company, with the option of doing workshops in greece, a country where its people are in dire need of this sort of thing.
It addresses body, mind, psyche and spirit imbalances.
Have a great summer everyone!
Blessings.

Hi all my friends!  I've just been working and just laying low for a while. My army daughter (Amber) is coming home on the 25th and will be leaving on July 9th for NY. She's moving to Hawaii the next day.

My oldest daughter is getting married on August 25th so Amber will be coming home from Hawaii for that.

I can't wait to see her!  I wish my youngest daughter in Kansas would come for the wedding but I don't think she will. :(

Hello Everyone!
I've had my parents visiting for a few days and they just left today. Tiresome but a blessing they still can visit.:)

I have first MS specialist appt Wednesday in Charlotte and it is a 3 hr drive and I'm trying to get everything organized and ready to take. I'm hoping and praying to get answers instead of just possible MS and waiting it out? We'll see what the Lord has planned for me.

I may have to hang in Limbo longer but if so at least I have this forum family.: A great wonderful group of lovely and caring friends:)

I'd appreciate in prayers or good wishes for this time and I will surely post any news/info after my appt. Virtual ((Hugs)) to all.:)

I'm wishing each of you a blessed week and I'm lifting you all in prayer daily.:)

Hugs and blessings,
Tammy:)

Hi all

It has been a crazy couple days.  Work all of a sudden took a change and right now trying to do everything I can to keep my job, both of them so am taking on extra projects.  This working 7 days a week is getting old but the alternative is not good either so I keep plugging away.  Luckily my MS is laying low right now so there is a positive!

Glad all are well here and I too Jibby am not looking forward to the heat this week.  It just wipes me out!

Hugs to all
Tracy

hi, mamabear,

i stopped by to take a peek at what's been going on here since i actually have a couple of hours to myself today.  just wanted to say "hi" and let you know i'm going to try to check in more regularly.  i am afraid to say anything, lest the other 9000lb shoe drop on my head, but things appear to have quieted down on my end.

dare i breathe?  hope you are doing well.
