Hey All - Just Checking in

Hi Everyone-

I know evryone has had soooo much going on lately. I hope you are all well and I want you to know I have you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Me? I have been on my Vit D and really do not find a huge difference, little improvement bu not what I thought.  I have been blasted with a nasty sinuss infection/bug combo that has knocked me out again so I can not tell anything anymore..I am trying to get through it but this is not going away quickly and of course work is 10x's more stressful with new job responsibilities.

I go for more blood in a bit to re-check levels and then see neuro on 3/16. we will see.

Well, I waanted to check in. Again, I have you all close to my heart and have you in my thoughts everyday that you are all doing well.

Love Jibs

Hey Sarah,

YES! definately I think it is. The doc had taken away that med to see if it was causing my cog. issues but I put myself back on it because I did not realize how much it worked until I went off it.

The sinus inf. does not help but going back on med is helping...I am trying to get rid of it but I think it is maing it self comfy here with me . LOL

Do you think your TN is acting up due to the sinus infection?  Last weekend, I was having severe pain on my left side; teeth/jaw, cheek, and all around my eye.  I have never had problems on my left side of anything, other than a flare up of muscle spasms in my left hip in December, so I was wondering if this was TN acting up on my left side due to the infection.  Who knows?

hi val, yes yorkshire pud is lovely especially filled with gravy lol.

Its funny what you are saying about intolerance getting more dramatic even though you only eat it occasionally.

Its weird, as the other day my hubby gave me a small slice of chocolate cake lol (I know naughty), and i had no problems with it.

2 weeks ago i had 2 digestive biscuits...omg the pain in my stomach was a nightmare.

I just dont get it. I wonder if there is something else I am missing.

I had the pain yesterday so bad like you would run to the loo but I did not want to go and did not need to go.

I am poopy this morning woke up at 5am after a restless night.

You should try yorkshire pudding.

Serve with beef gravy, sliced beef, roast potatoes and veggies. Yummy. That is our traditional sunday lunch.

Roast parsnips drizzled with honey, cauliflower cheese, and brussel sprouts. Roast potatoes done in goose fat (par boiled and fluffed up before putting them in oven). HEAVEN lol.xxxx

Glad you are checking in!  I, too, have been battling a bad cold, which turned into a sinus infection and bronchitis, for the last 3+ weeks now.  I am much better than I was, but I am still coughing.

Think about you all the time and hope you are doing well and hanging in there.  I hope work gets better for you, too!
(((hugs)))

Eating out makes it so difficult to stay gluten free, doesn't it!?

You inspired me to look up a recipe for Yorkshire Pudding. I can see why it tempted you to eat some gluten; it sounds delicious! My husband and I both feel that the symptoms of our gluten intolerance have gotten more dramatic now that we only eat it occasionally. I'm not sure why that is, but it is miserable. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Jibby glad your ok. A friend of mine had really really low vit d levels, dangerously low, and even though she has been on special meds for it, so far she doesnt feel any different. I wonder if it just takes a bit longer for the levels to catch up and then start to feel normal.

Mine were a bit low but to be honest even though I went on some extra vit d I didnt notice any difference lol....

Sorry you have had an nasty infection/bug combo going on. It never rains but it pours doesnt it.

I just went out for lunch with my mum and ended up with tooth ache again, really bad stomach and my legs are in spasm, so had to go to bed. Just going out for a lunch so fed up of this carp it does my head in.

I am on gluten free diet, but failed because for my lunch I had gravy which is made with flour, and some yorkshire pudding which has flour in it.

So I am convinced now I do have a gluten intolerance. I have the pain in my stomach real bad but not having to run to the toilet which is most odd.

Oh well tomorrow is another day.

Big hugs. Mariaxxx
