Leg spasms and tightness

Hi,

just when i thought I was feeling better..My legs and arms are killing me with tightness and spasms (cramps)..i don't know what happen as I thought i was getting a little better until I got my period but now i am done but the only thing I can contribute it too is that I went to do some shopping on Sunday and maybe over did it..I can not bend my left arm to starightten it..I even noticed on Sunday I could not hold a single bag with my left arm..my legs are crampng up and stiff  like crazy and i am getting the shocks down y legs like never before..pinched nerves have been ruled out.

Has anyones numbness, tingling and spasms become worse because you have "over exerted" yourself?

I wanted to call in sick but I am trying to not let this effect my job....This is the worst it has ever been for me...

JibJen..

Hi jibjen

I used to get that 20 odd years ago when I had ME/CFS. It took about 4or 5 years to recover from. I still have a patch above my knee that goes into spasm and aches in the same way when I am very tired nowadays.

Hi Theresa,

I am okay..(still i my jammies at 4:27 p.m.) I really love relaxing in my tub and steamer...It's a bummer..I do not know if what happened last time was just a coincidence or not but I don't want to find out ;o)

I am going to have dinner and go back to bed early....(again)

How are you doing? Are you feeling better? Did you call your doctor at all?

Talk to you soon.
Be well
Jenny

I KNEW I was sick Jen when I started to fall asleep at my desk at 3pm. 3pm is my time for the old battery to wind down even now. By 6pm especially after my evening meal I am even more knackered and tired and in bed by 7pm.

This weekend just chill out. The housework can wait. Big hugs Mariaxxx

Poor thing...
Sounds like  the combo of your period and overdoing it made you sort of have a flare up. I was going thru the same thing with my burning and fatigue. Like Maria said you need to rest and take it easy. Unfortunatly fatigue comes with the territory...

Take Care, Theresa

Hi Jibjen you have fatiqued yourself. Over time I find I can do less and less before this happens to me.

You need to rest up a bit if you can for a few days. Work yes, but don't do extra stuff.

This is the fatigue that effects your nervous system. This form of fatigue is common in a few illnesses which involve the nervous system like ME/MS/FIBRO/Lupus.

You could also be carrying a mild virus because it could be a warning you are going to come down with something ok.

So rest if you can I know it isnt easy.

Hugs Mariaxxx
