Hi TT

You must be so worried about this. I'm so sorry to read what's going on. Like Maria said, the best bet is asking your docs.

But I did want to chip in that a close colleague of mine had a very similar experience about 15yrs ago. They did the surgery and she came back to work and flourished!  Every case is different, we know that. But there are happy endings for lots of people.

keep us posted, eh?

Hi Tammy and welcome.

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis big hugs to you.xxx

As to your question can optic nerve tumours be removed? To be honest I really think this question should be directed to whom so ever is treating you or has given you this dx. Every case would be different with a differing outcome so it would be impossible for anyone who is not a medic to really and truly give you an answer.

I know you are asking as you need reassurance I can understand that I would be the same too.

i am sure that many tumours can be removed but I am not really the person to tell you this as I would not want to give you the wrong information if that makes any sense.

Can you not ask your neurologist how was it left when you were told?

Sorry i cant be more helpful all I can do really is send you big hugs.....xxxxxxxx
