Hello

LIW
This is not a question, per se. I spent years in neurological limbo and was forced to become as knowledgable as possible about many things because I found that neurologists were quite dismissive.

Is this the case for anyone else?

I hope we can all share and help each other to deal with the neurologists, share tips and ideas about what each of us found helpful whether it be about heading toward a diagnosis, questions about symptoms, or how to manage daily.

Thanks for starting this most overdue group.

L.

Hi LIW, yes this is def the case with me too when I talk to certain medical profesional about my experence they are sometimes amazed at how much I know about neuro stuff and MS, but unfortunately after bieng dissmissed by some neuro's I had no choice but to find out further info for myself and was then able to go back armed with what I needed to ask in order to get taken seriously! Took me a long time but getting there now! Best wishes Wilma xx

Welcome on board, the coffee is good and the chocolate cake even better LOL.

I hope that lots of people will come on board to make this THE PLACE in the universe to go when we are feeling low, or just want to share experiences.

Perhaps we could get a guest Nuerologist to explain their side of the story.  Any takers???
