Having a few drinks

With the holidays fast approaching I wondered if alcohol has an affect on your symptoms?

hi,

here we go again supo..I could have clicked them all..I guess it would be safe to say that tecnically I SHOULD not drink because of my meds although I still go out and get "snozzled" once in a while . I can not truly say if my symptoms get worse or if it is becuse of my meds...I'm on Topomax..I have to say when I do drink it really is not worth te consequences so I only do it once in a while but an occasional drink let's me feel like I fit in with the crowd...

The older I became the less alcohol I cold tolerate but I did enjoy wine and beer now and then up until a few years ago.  Once my health became so bad I just didn't even care to drink...alcohol makes me feel far worse.

Now, due types of medications I am on, drinking is just not a good idea.  I asked myself, I fought so long for medication so I could feel better, so why run the risk of alcohol making things worse?  And my mind is in a somewhat altered state of brain fog anyway, why do I want to enhance that?

It's a personal choice I made and one each of us has to decide on our own.  Situations change for each of us, and with those situations, our decisions change.

In the end, we have to enjoy life as best we can.  Live, love, and laugh....enjoy the holidays!

Yes, drinking and the holidays does go hand in hand....

I have noticed that going for drinks can have no effect or it can make me really, really ill.

And, its not because I over imbibe ;)

Makes me wary and that ***** because one of the best things about the UK is meeting up at the pub.

Happy holidays everyone.
