Thanks Niko. I love coconut. : ). And I am already on a no carb diet. Pituitary malfunction due to pressure so I hav to watch. I love egg whites and fresh fruited (so I shouldn't say no carbs. Just no processed carbs). I miss my pilates an yoga and thy use to be my relaxation and stress relief before and this darn tube hurts so I was hoping to use that again but. I am not sure I can. Thank u so much for answering me. I just can't find many people that have one of these in. Lol. My very own brain drain. Lol.
Thanks again. : ).
Hey lu7997,
I have no personal experience with this, however, I have experience with holistic pain management.
Some suggestions:
1. Meditation. Your discomfort leads to more stress, more stress leads to more pain.
It is a vicious cycle. Meditation shuts out external negative factors and helps you "tune in"
and seek wellness. Listen to a meditation CD if not able to meditate on your own.
2. Accupressure. The spleen 6 acu-point is for the general abdominal area. Do a search for this as it is too precise to explain here in this post. Also general EFT tapping would help.
If you can post the exact location of the most painful spots, perhaps I could suggest other acu-points.
3. Hypnotherapy. It my favorite pain management tool. I usually suggest 5-6 sessions
for more durable results.
4. Reiki. The most sacred method for transfering Healing Energy (to my opinion)
5. Weight loss and fitness. Make sure the fitness plan you incorporate is safe and appropriate. Establish this with a professional, like a physiotherapist.
Consume only nutritionally dense and sound foods, fresh and organic if possible
with an emphasis on low carb foods and alkaline foods as well. (carbs are proinflammatory and associated with easy weight gain) Look into replacing cooking oils with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil-for more info go to the coconut research centre website.
Drink plenty of filtered water. Do conscious deep breathing as much as possible.
Wish you well.
Niko
