Vitamin D

Just got more blood test results.  Apparently I am low on Vitamin D.  My neuro had tested for this awhile back, but my family doctor said we should do a different vitamin d test and it was sent to Mayo.  Sure enough, it was low.  I am suppossed to start taking D3.

I'm still awaiting one more blood test...hopefully I know by the middle of next week.

Wow!  I am only supposed to take 800 iu's a day...I couldn't find 800 though, so I am taking 1000.

I started taking more B12 and I think it is helping.  It's hard to tell,  though, but I think... (I hope, I wish, i pray....)

hi kristin,

i had a low vitamin D level too.  mine was 16 a year ago and i was put on 50,000iu weekly megadoses for 3 months.  now i take 5000iu a day, but it hasn't been rechecked in a while and so i don't know where it's at right now.  and yes, make sure you take D3.  i have been sitting out in the sun for the past few days since we have actually had some nicer weather.  it is very foggy a lot of the time where i live so i am trying to get all the natural vitamin D i can while it's availalble.

hope you're doing well.

best wishes,
binx
