Blood tests all came out normal...again.  Except my Vit D which I have to retake because they forgot to put in in the freezer like they were suppossed too.  I have given up 16 vials of my blood in the last year...I am beginning to wonder if they are going to leave any for me!

Errk. Do you guys ever get the feeling that they're secretly boosting blood bank supplies?! LOL (or maybe there's a lot more vampires out there than we knew)

All tests are scary, aren't they? You just wish they'd come up with something that explains the lot and yet has a very simple treatment - like triple chocolate cake every day...

well, i gotta say that after my first rheumy visit, they drew 17 tubes, took a urine sample and did a chest x-ray.  i sat and drank 2 cranberry juice cups afterwards before i went on my way.

i know about wanting something to show up in the bloodwork (i wept when my vitamin B-12 level was in the upper-level of normal), but it is certainly a good feeling to have some of the more scary things crossed off the list.

Theresa-did you have 14 tubes taken all in one day??!!  If so, you have certainly got me beat!

And yes, I am annoyed that I have to go back and give more blood because of someone's silly mistake, but we all make mistakes!

And JibJen, yes I really was hoping for some easy answer or some clue or something.  Like, Oh your Vit C is way low, that's causing ALL your problems, here's a Vitamin, POOF, you're cured!!!  A girl can hope, right??  : )  But, the amyloidosis sounded pretty serious so I m glad I don't have that.
