Been awhile since I last posted

Hi everyone!  It has been awhile since I last posted and I will start off by saying that for the past 6 weeks or so I have been doing much better.  My PCP says I definitely have auo immune disease but figuring out which one has been a nightmare.  My main problem now and has been the main problem is the brutal vertigo.  I go to the ent doc on the 30th to have a tilt table test.  I am not looking forward to this.  I just wanted to post and give you some good news from me for a change!!  Hope you all are feeling as good as possible and Merry Christmas to everyone!!

I am so sorry about your daughter.  I know this reply is late but I have been battling my demons again.  I am going to buy me a laptop so I can lay down and type.  My vertigo has been horrendous for awhile and I am truly at my wits end.  I had to reschedule my ent appt because I did nto have health insurance until Jan1.   Made me mad that my appointment was just 2 days before i would have health insurance.  So now I go to the ent on the 26th of this month if I can make it that long.  I called today to see if there were any cancellations but there were none.  i will call everyday until there is one!   I am not going anywhere...you guys have been great and sometimes just being able to get on here and laugh at peoples jokes makes my days so much brighter...take care big hugs!

Hi so glad you came back to tell us how you are and good news for a change.

My daughter had the tilt table test she was fine with it. She started with awful vertigo so bad she would just fall on to the floor.

She has been diagnosed with M.E. although we are not convinced that is what is wrong with her. Her MRI showed lesions and her LP inflammation. The neuro sent her to the M.E. clinic and they told her NO to M.E. more likely MS or some auto immune disease. BUT her neuro is insisting on ME.

She is very poorly this week with a bad flare so I am keeping an eye out on her and we are thinking of going to see a neuro again in the new year. She is 38 by the way.

Her vertigo is tons better now with medication thank goodness.

Vertigo is more common than we realise. My mum has it EVERY NIGHT she has positional vertigo (her age), and I just found out yesterday my sister gets it too.

Well all we have to do now dee is work through the ABC of auto immune diseases together LOL thats how I feel they treat us usually. Surprised they dont use a pin LOL.

Big huge hugs, stay with us, we need to support you. Hugs mariaxxxx
