odd sensations

Hello,

I am wondring if anyone else has ever experienced this..I have had SOME tingling return..a tingle that was on the top of my head and some in my leg and toes but the odd sensations have been like cold spots on different parts of my legs..I don't know how to explain them if they are cold or hot or feel so cold they hot...when i touch the area it is neithr cold or hot.I am also getting some sensations of like being bit by something, like a horsefly but there's no bug...

I get these sensations in my shins as well. When I go to walk/step when I put my leg down it is tingling cold spot...
and the bottom of my feet..
This  is so hard to explain how it feels..I also had the same thing on my face near my lips that my lips felt wet...

Anyway..Anyone know how I can POSSIBLY explain to doctor???? I am going to ask chiro if this has anything to do with my back isues...which by the way I have had no problems...

Thanks guys and have a good day

Oh my good grief! I thought I was the only one!

The horsefly thing gets to me - so unsettling. And I've just got used to my cold, tingly patches.  There's a big patch on the side of my lower leg - when I'm in the shower the hot water just feels COLD on it. I looked up the dermatomes: it seems to follow sacro-iliac and lumber nerve routes. Peripheral neuropathy eh?

Thanks for raising this. Now I know I'm normal - for a limbolander ;-)

hi jibby,

i have had many episodes of exactly what you are describing.  i have had sensations of cold or even wet on the outside of my right leg.  i have even touched my leg and it is dry as a bone and normal temperature.  i get bee sting like sensations in random parts of my body--arms, legs, etc.

from what i understand, this is peripheral neuropathy, and can be associated with many of the disorders we discuss on this board.

you can explain it to your doctor exactly how you have explained it to us.  he will most likely have heard it before, and if he hasn't, i would find a new neuro, stat.

i hope you're doing well, and i hope sweet sadie is too.

best wishes,
binx
