sjogren's?

My rhuem. dr thought I may had Sjogren's several years ago, but I tested ng for it...I have positive ANA, but negative for Anti DNA...

my neuro thinks "demyelinating disease" because of newer symptoms, but I have not had MRI yet..

does anyone know any mimics for sjogren's?

Hi Binx,

Now the doc is saying its fibro...I'm so confused.

I have shooting pains, tingling in my skin, headaches, muscle weakness, problems walking, coordination problems, fatigue and concentration problems.

And...was just told today sleep apnea and I need cpap...will apnea cause neuro type symptoms?

dear mamij,

i have a possible sjögren's syndrome diagnosis based on a positive lip biopsy, and from what i understand, you can still have it and not test positive for sjögren's antibodies.  it is also a virtual MS mimic in that it can cause lesions and neurological symptoms.

what are the newer symptoms that make your doc feel you have a demyelinating disease?

are you scheduled for an MRI?
