Hi and welcome.  your story sounds somewhat like mine.  I also have two small children and know how hard this can be.

I noticed something in your symptoms-fullness even before you eat.  Has anyone investigated this? gastric emptying study or endoscopy??  I was having that as well and was just diagnosed with Gastroparesis which means "paralyzed stomach".  It is when damage to your vagus nerve or stomach muscles causes your stomach not to work properly so that the food just sits in your stomach and doesn't move out into the intestines as it should.  The symptoms are nausea, fullness, vomitting, bloating, weight loss.  I didn't have the vomitting, though.  The mayo clinic has good info about it on their website.  That is the info my Dr directed me to.  This condition can go along with auto-immune and neurological conditions and can sometimes be of unknown origin.  I am still trying to find a cause for mine and whether it is related to my other issues.

Good luck to you.

hello,

i am so sorry to hear of your struggles.  i have a 4-year-old myself and know how difficult it is to manage an illness as well as care for little ones.

of course i am no medical professional, and i don't know anything except what i know, but from what you've described i feel compelled to say, get thee to a rheumatologist ASAP!  with swollen hands, feet and glands, etc., it sounds like you may be dealing with a possible autoimmune process.  anyone else think so?  my rheumatologist told me that pregnancy can trigger autoimmune disease in some cases, so the timing sounds about right.

please take good care and keep us posted.

best wishes,
binx

Welcome CC

Blimey! That sounds like a horrible experience. What a pity especially when you have two little ones who need you to be healthy and energetic.

I wonder what your doctors have to say? Have you had blood tests that include major and subtle infections?

What about MRIs to see what's going on in your abdomen/uterus?
