Akathisia / Dystonia / Bruxism

Did you know that Buspar will alleviate akathisia (restlessness)?  And that magnesium will alleviate dystonia and bruxism?  I am on only 15 mg. of Buspar a day, and I take two-thirds of it when I get up, because akathisia from my nighttime antipsychotic is worse then.  I take 250 mg. of magnesium, along with 600 mg. of calcium, after dinner, and long-term (mild) dystonia and (mild) bruxism is alleviated with this.  I learned all this from the web.

I don't think it works for TD, though being relaxed with Buspar could make some difference.  Ginkgo alleviates TD.  And there are prescription medicines on the the market.

There is now a forum for TD on MedHelp.
