Any tips would be appreciated

Alright, this is going to sound pretty ridiculous, but idk what else to do other than going to a professional. About 3 weeks ago I came back to my room after drinking a lot and smoking a lot of weed. Needless to say I was feeling pretty good and decided to masturbate. What happened was I went at it for quite some time, which caused a pretty severe rug burn on the left side of the head of my penis, as well as under it and by the foreskin/circumcision area on the same side. Like any rugburn, any friction with duration naturally hurts after awhile, thus making it tough to masturbate without making it worse.

I have never had a sexual experience with a woman other than kissing and even then not so much so I obviously know it isnt an STD since the experience isn't even correlated with that. What I would like to know is what kind of medication, ointment etc, I can use to accelerate the healing process. Or perhaps I'm treating it wrong or I've left a scar? I've tried obviously not masturbating as well as applying neosporin or lotion several times a day.

I honestly don't see any progress in the healing which scares me a little bit but nonetheless any kind of advice one can give would be greatly appreciated!!! thank you for your time.

Too much masturbation or sexual contact will cause friction and will cause that. My husband recommends not masturbating for a while and making sure the area is cleansed properly each day.

Umm, this is going to sound like super weird. I would say try sleeping naked, so that you can keep air flow to it you know? Like when you get a bad cut, leaving the bandaid on too long seems to make it worse. So I guess what I am saying is try and keep the area moisture free as much as possible.. And yes, if the lotion your using isn't some sort of an antiseptic I wouldn't be putting it on any sort of open wound. For one cause it probably burns, and two certain fragrances and things like that could just keep it irritated which would I would think make the healing process much longer.. Good luck!

I guess if the skin was damaged you could quite easily have picked up an infection, which would slow recovery.  Is the lotion you are using an antiseptic?  If it isn't, it should be!

I'd agree, 3 weeks does seem like a long time for skin damage to recover.
