Cialis used by woman made red face

Ok so I took a Cialis from my bf and took it to see of it could help me have an orgasm as lately I  on anti depressants and haven't been able too.  My face got hot and swollen and turned purplish red and my nose is plugged etc.  Is that a normal reaction for a female using Cialis?
Thanks.

Realize that medications like Viagra and similar ED drugs (Cialis) were originally formulated
to treat Hypertension (high blood pressure) as they were found to significantly enhance blood flow. It was soon discovered, during clinical studies, that it improved circulation in "other vital areas" of the body as well.

So, essentially... you took a blood pressure reactive medication without having a blood circulation problem! Hence, the swelling and facial flushing. My guess is that you may have also felt your skin tingling and your heart racing. Be careful about using medications that aren't prescribed for you.

Cialis is NOT for women and has only been approved for men. You had a bad reaction to it, so do not use it again.
