Great that things are fine now.
Hope the Evening Primrose oil helps you.
It would be worth your while to discuss the PMS with your doctor.
The pill that you are on may not be suiting you. PMS has a lot to do with a hormone imbalance, so keep a record of your moods swings and have a chat with your doctor to see if there is anything else he can do to help.
I am not sure if Evening Primrose oil can prescribed by the doctor, if so that could be a cheaper for you to get a prescription.
Eating lots of fresh fruit and veg, cutting out on cutting down on the sugar and a healthy and well balanced diet and cutting out processed and refined foods will also help.
Best wishes.
Oh yes! I already got that taken care of & everything is fine now.
This BC that I have been taking has given me a Lot of PMS symptoms ... they vary each month & usually start about 10 days before. Thanks for the Evening Primrose oil suggestion ... I'd really like to see if that helps
Hope you got medication and advice with regard to sorting out the yeast infection - yeast is a type of fungus and this is usually Thrush.
Your partner may also need to be treated, otherwise you could end up passing it on to each other.
Applying natural set yogurt to the clean area can hep. If the gyno took a swab test, they will know which fungus you have so that you can be given the correct medication. Fluconazole which is a one dose single oral capsule can be purchased from the pharmacy as well as genital creams specifically for fungal problems.
Sometimes taking antibiotics can bring about yeast problems and you may require an antifungal medication at the same time if you are prescribed an antibiotic.
Keeping a menstrual cycle chart is a good idea. Note down your moods and any other symptoms that you may get. The moods swings that you encounter a few days and as much as 10 days before a period is called Premenstrual Tension (PMT) or sometimes referred to as Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). Having a healthy and well balanced diet and cutting out junk foods and sugary foods and drinks will help to lessen the mood swings and Evening Primrose Oil is also beneficial for PMS.
Best wishes.
This reply is to Jemma too:
Yes, I've heard that too and maybe it is just that time of the month. I'll have to start keeping track throughout the month I guess. I am on the pill, I just started taking it sometime last summer & I have noticed a lot of changes with my body & moods. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a side effect as well. We don't really need lube though, I get pretty wet ...sometimes too wet ... he'll wipe it off half way through sometimes so we can start over.
I've been to the gyno recently & I Had a yeast infection but he didn't say there was any other issues. I might make another appointment to ask about this though.
Thanks you two.
Depending on the point of the month it can change consistency. There are times of the month when it seems like mine is more watery and other times when it is thicker and more gel like.
Are you on the pill? When I was on the pill I had to use lube
May be worth getting checked out for any fungal problem.
As we age the natural lubricant is not always adequate. Perhaps the both of you should use a lubricant like KY Gel to apply to each others private area to help.
Hormones can other reasons can also affect how our body lubricates.
Best wishes.
I don't think it's that because I drink a Lot of water each day & try to always have a water bottle with me. I'm trying to cut out soda and sugary drinks.
I will say that when I was younger there were times when I remember my arousal being more watery ... but that was only a hand full of times.
Maybe your not hydrated? It's just a guess but water has to come from somewhere. Try drinking lots of water and see how it goes.
