Frequent urination after sex but not a UTI

I started having problems with frequent urination 3 months ago and I was treated for a UTI.  The antibiotics seemed to help at first but my symptoms never got completely better and then got worse again.  When I went back and got my urine tested but it came back negative for both a UTI and STIs.  I've noticed that the only time I really have a problem is after having sex when I will urgently need to urinate about every half an hour for the remainder of that day.  When I have not had intercourse, I will not need to urinate urgently but I will still always feel like I need to urinate, even if I have just gone, but I usually do not go for a few hours since it is not urgent.  I stopped having intercourse but it did not seem to help.  The only symptom I am having is the constant feeling that I need to urinate, nothing else.  My gynecologist mentioned I could have problems from switching condom brands so I'm not sure if I could just be experiencing irritation that would go away naturally but I've had the problem for a long time and it hasn't gotten better.  Other than that my doctors haven't given me any answers. I'm not in any pain, just getting a little annoyed with this symptom and I have no idea what it could be?

Hi there.   Just to let you know that this is a prolapse forum so you may wish to re pots in the bladder or Urology forums as well.
I had symptoms like yours and ended up getting worse and worse then found out I had a bladder wall embedded infection where the bacteria no longer stayed in the urine so the infection could not be cultured from my urine... urine testing isnt 100% effective in finding bacteria anyway.
I am not on long term antibiotics and have at least got my life back.   I hope to be cured at some point and am alot better than I was.
