How I can I satop masterbating

I just accepted jesus as my lord and saviour Im trying to quit this habit I do a prayer its not helping how do I stop?

The "problem" is when you accept Jesus masturbation becomes a sin.  That's why theman wants to stop.  He's putting his beliefs before his own earthly pleasures, therefore, to Christians, it's not healthy and normal.

Theman, as a fellow Christian, all I can say is to keep praying and when the urge to masturbate comes up try and do something else (read, play a video game, work on a car or whatever you like to do, etc.).  The temptation will not go away but there's ways to distract you from them.  You can't just pray and then say it won't work.  You need to also act on it too by occupying your time with something else and by avoiding the temptations (porn movies, etc.).  It's not going to be easy but as long as you have faith in God and continue to grow in Him it will get easier to fight the temptations.  I hope it helps and good luck!

I don't think masturbation is wrong. How often are you talking about? Has it interfered with your life? Masturbation is healthy and normal.
