There's anal beads and vaginal beads. Anal you insert in your anus and pull out. DON'T use these in your vagina if you've used them in your anus. You are asking for a lot of trouble if you do (meaning infections). I have heard of women who use vaginal beads during the day. They insert them in the am and then take them out at night. I'm not into it myself, but if your into pain or discomfort and trust your partner. (which means somewhat submissive I take it?) you need to arrange a safeword that if you use means STOP and it means immediately. The downside of being a masochist though is by definition your ideal partner has to be somewhat of a sadist.
