I'm pretty frustrated.....

I've never had an orgasm through intercourse, only clitoral. Why? I've heard from somewhere that for some women, their bodies must mature into having the ability to orgasm...is this true?

hi- i know exactly what you are going through! it is very frustrating.
I am a young happly married woman as well as a mommy.
With my husband I can not orgasm soley through intercourse and I too have been accused of cheating!
Though before we got married- we had a short spit up, and we both had other relations- believe it or not, I was able to orgasm! easy at that! with the other man.
I dont know what kind of advice to tell you- exept for dont go "looking" for someone who can make you achieve one.
I wish so much I could have that great feeling with my love.

I dont believe that the distance between ur vagina and clitorus is true because i know mine isnt more than 1 inch and i still can not have an orgasm by just hacing intercourse. I think its just some people can and some people cant and we are just the unlucky ones lol

Lots of people never experience orgasm thru sex. Be grateful that your getting off. Lots of women never do that either.

I just read that article, and that makes a whole lot of sense.  Now I don't feel like I'm abnormal, woo!
I sent it to my boyfriend to read, as he's been trying to "make it happen" forever, and doesn't understand why I can't come when all his past girlfriends had.

So, StilHopefull, we're all in the majority.

ok ladies read all about it:

http://www.elle.com/Astrology-Advice/Ask-E.-Jean/Ask-E.-Jean-The-Ersatz-Orgasm

Most women can't have an orgasm with just plain intercourse because their clitoris is too far from the vaginal opening...More than 1.18 inches or 3 cm and your chances of an intercourse orgasm are slim to none....

This article made everything very clear to me...because I have never had an orgasm with just plain sex (however many clitoral orgasms)....and so I did a little measuring and I am also too far away, so everything makes sense to me now....time to pull out the vibrator and do it that hard way ;)

Good Luck,
~Danielle (age22)

Most woman can't orgasm through vaginal intercourse alone. I'm only able to orgasm with clitoral stimulation also. I'm 23 too so I don't think it's just me not exploring my body because frankly i like a little me time too lol But still have to have the clitoral stimulation or it's a no go lol

I can't orgasm with just vaginal intercourse.  There has to be clitoral stimulation for me too.  I know women who have g-spot orgasms.  I have never had one but that's perfectly normal.

As already mentioned, the majority of women need direct clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm.  Most (decent) men realise this, and appreciate the need for a woman to massage her clitoris during sex so she can orgasm during intercourse.

You do not give your age, so i am assuming that you are a teen, and i would not feel comfortable talking about this, if you are a teen  luck  jo

I'm one of the lucky ones who can get an orgasm from intercourse itself. Therefore I do not try seek to orgasm through the clitoris as the type I get is great. Saying that, I've heard the stats are 80% of women can't orgasm in this way but 20% can. But at least you are able orgasm in some form, there are women who never get the pleasure, so I wouldn't be unhappy about it if I were you :-)
For me I've been able to ever since being sexually active so I am not of the opinion it's something you will necessarily get as you 'mature' (provided that you are not too young !!) Just keep exploring yourself and be happy with your body.

Hi, since we don't know your age, I hope you are of and adult age to practice protected sex.  I belive it is an experience and sensation that happens naturally. Some factors that can stop you for experiencing an orgasm can be tension, stress or even health issues.

Once (the past), during intimacy, I couldn't feel a thing, so as much and as hard as my bf tried, I didn't feel a thing, so although he had a great time, I wanted it to be over with pronto!  It caused hugh problems in my relationship and he even accused me of cheating. I went to my gyne and it turned out to be a hugh tumor on top of my uterus. I had major surgery and as of today all is well.

I do agree that with time and experience, you and your partner through practice and experience will get to know what you both like and postions that will make the best out of lovemaking, but you have to communicate to your partner that you want to experience an orgasm through intercourse....good luck, Judy

Most women can't orgasm through just vaginal intercourse.  I know I can't.  It's quite normal.  The clitoris is where all the nerve endings are.
