There’s a difference between simply withholding ejaculation & deliberately forcing a retrograde one. I do NOT think forcing ejaculate backward is a good idea, at least not repeatedly. Doing it once in awhile prbly won’t do too much harm, but doing so all the time might not be good. Generally, trying to thwart a normal bodily process is harmful - for example, it’s never a good idea to intentionally postpone urinating, if the bladder is too full, urine could back up & damage the kidneys. Likewise, deliberately postponing bowel movements could result in chronic constipation. The little valve that allows ejaculate to exit the urethra and NOT flow backwards into the bladder could be damaged by repeatedly forcing ejaculate back against the normal flow. My advice would be that you might be able to do this once in awhile without too much damage, but I’d stay away from doing it on a regular basis...
I also wanna know the answer of your question because I have an exactly same habit of intentionally not ejaculating. I am doing it for about last 4 years now I am feeeling that it is not healthy. Also, from the last few days, I am feeling pain in the lower abdominal region on the right side( appendix region). I wanna know that if this pain ia because of my habit or someting else??
If you search kundalini yoga, taoist yoga, you will know the importance of with holding ejaculation and reaching orgasm.you may also read about circulating sexual energy around microcosmic orbit in the body. They practice of stopping ejaculation by pressing a particular spot in perineum.Their belief is that male lose his energy by ejaculation and female loses her energy by menstrual blood. So to save energy they try to reduce ejaculation in male and menstrual blood in female. You can also learn about sexual reflexology. You may consult a doctor as well. Male deer exercise and female deer exercises are very important exercises for them. If you can contact master of kundalini yoga or Taoist yoga, you will be able to resolve your dilemma.
True retrograde ejaculation involves a failing of the urinary sphincter within the prostate allowing the semen contained to be pushed into the bladder during ejaculatory contractions. What you have been doing would not be considered retrograde ejaculation; but it could very well contribute to the onset of the condition.
Ejaculating a teaspoon of semen is approximately 4ml; which would be in the average range for a normal semen volume of 3-5ml, so it shouldn't have any negative effects on your fertility. If you abstain from masturbation or intercourse that results in ejaculation for just a few days (2-4days) you will allow your seminal vesicles and prostate enough time to produce your maximum semen volume. Other factors the lower the semen volume are poor hydration, nicotine, recreational drugs, stress or illness.
