Is Painful Clitoris permanently damaged?

I had rough sex 3 months ago where he did oral sex too hard and I felt numb. I also used to use a vibrator.I now have very painful clitoris around the time of my period, feels like a stabbing feeling and very sore to touch. I have little sexual feeling just feels numb the rest of the time and I used to have a high sex drive. Can the nerves be permanently damaged I am very scared as it was 3 months ago.

I just answered this on your other post, but now I see it's been 3 months, so my answer is going to change a bit.

I think you should see your doctor to rule out any infections - take a friend with you if you need to - and ask about vulvodynia.

I'm not sure if this was part of a sexual assault, but if it was, I'm sure there is an emotional aspect to this as well. (That in no way lessens the physical effects - maybe heightens them, even.) I posted the info for RAINN in your other answer - but just in case - - https://www.rainn.org/about-national-sexual-assault-telephone-hotline - 800.656.HOPE (4673).

Let us know what happens.
