Is matsrebation really concered cheating

As I have state on another topic I posted, I am engaged to my beautiful wife that I have been with for 4yrs.  But our sexual relationship has just about gone.  We don't have sex anymore.  She has some health issue herself such as anxiety, depression and Fybromalgia.  When I am at home watching a movie that has some nudity, i start to get turned on and then go on some of the porn sites to masterbate.  Is this really considered cheating?

I think that it would be a stretch (no pun intended) to equate masterbation with cheating. There's no way that the two are anywhere near the same.

There is no possible way masturbation could be related to cheating. Some couples even masturbate together. I don't even see what's so horrible about the idea of watching porn with your partner. *shrug*

What if masterbation is done alone watching porn or pics.  I do this most often.  Sometimes when I feel depressed or stressed I go and lay on the couch and do my thing just to make my self feel better

Craig if your lady is bothered by this. Then tell her to take over. Men have a lot more need for sex then most women. i would not worry about it.
I masturbate in front of my wife. When she is done and i aint

It can be considered cheating! Do you look at pictures and videos of people you know? Or is it completely random? My boyfriend (soon to be ex) looks at pictures of women that we actually know. I consider this cheating and plan on moving out and leaving him in one week. He has caused me a lot of pain because of this and I don't think he realized or cares. I know if it was completely random women..or while watching tv I wouldn't care at all! THAT is not considered cheating.

TY for your comment.  No it is not of anyone we know.  Just random women.  Sometimes she is just not in the mood and I still need my needs met.  She is aware of my masterbation and I don't hide anythiing from her (i. playboy mags under bed, vib laying around.)  Glad your making a good decision.  I hope you will fiind someone that will love you for you and not for someone else.  I have been cheated on my my ex and know what it is like.  If I even had the urge I would be man enough to tell her rather than lie about it.  Lieing always leeds to toruble.  Again.  TY for your help.

you leave your dirty mags out???? see now that would p!ss me off. i don't care about the porn occasionally. (my dh looks at it every once in a while when he's in the mood and i really am just not...i know he has his needs and if that's how he gets "off" then fine so be it.) but i draw the line at buying mags (we do own a few "couples" porns) and leaving them lay around the house. what we do have we keep hidden...in the bedroom out of sight of people who may come over and out of sight of our children (even if they are 8 months old). she may have an issue seeing them laying around. seeing the "perfect" women that you pleasure yourself to could be causing a self image for her. she may be becoming self conscience thinking that she's not attractive enough for you. maybe you should find a better place for your dirty magazines.
