It is a good suggestion to distract your mind by some positive activity. It is true masturbation done in limit does not harm, worrying about the habit does more harm. Try to avoid mb. If you have to do it, following the following tips. Mb with lubricated hand, do not stop breathing while mbing. Relax your perineum , empty your bladder before mbing. All tips are helpful in doing a proper masturbation. You cannot supress  by will power only. You learn abdominal breathing (google) practice it twice a day for 10 miniutes. Use this to distract your mind from mbing.Search  some breathing exercises to improve your blood circulation of your groin ares. Diligent effort will help you to improve your total life.
