Porn and Erectile Dysfunction

Hey there

I'm a 19 year old, since about the age of 11 I've watched porn
and just recently got ED, I've found out its because of the porn
and masturbation. I've googled around and the basic advice has
been to not masturbate until it gets better. But there's 3 questions
I have about it which I can't find answers for:
1) What are the signs of being totally "rebooted"? How do you know
    when your cured?
2) Once I do get better, How much masturbation and what kinds of
masturbation is safe to do to avoid getting this problem again?
(I've read somewhere that even fantasizing about something could be damaging)
3) How long does the recovery process take?

I suppose you have visited these 2 medhelp threads on porn-induced ED. It's helpful to converse with others who have this problem

1) Cured: some signs include return of very full, spontaneous erections, and high libido when thinking about real girls.... but it doesn't happen for every guy. The primary sign is strong full erection when masturbating using only sensation - no fantasy.

2) Masturbation does not cause ED, porn does. However, all guys who recover discover that their true sexual desire is different without porn. Everyone needs to chart their own oath with masturbation.

3) Depends on many factors. If you started porn at 11, and consistently used it, then it could be 60-120 days. Only one way to know

I suggest visiting yourbrainonporn to learn all about porn and ED. Look under the first FAQ

I went to the doctor, he didn't even look when I described
everything to him, and said it was purely psychological.
I'm pretty sure it is porn ED, because a lot of my other
symptoms match other people with it.

You are kind of young to have ED. I would strongly recommend a visit to a doctor for a complete evaluation. You need to eliminate possible physical issues and then pursue the psychological ones

I forgot to throw in, I also read erotic stories.
Could they have contributed to the ED?
