RED DOTS

Hi I am sixteen years old and have had an unraised red dot on my penis for about 2 years now it is not sensitive or hurt at all. Also the other day I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and little unraised red dots started to appear about two days after which also are unsensitive! However it is abit irritated towards the back of the penis shaft!!! I'm very worried because I have heard it can cause fertility problems thanks DOM

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
Most of the spots, lumps or rashes on penis are harmless. Pearly penile papules are seen in about 10-20% of all men. They are red bumps on the penis are non infectious and require no treatment. If there are very small shiny pink bumps on the glans it may be due to lichen planus. In this condition there are smooth scales on the papules. Lichen planus is not infectious or harmful, but it does respond to medical treatment. Most cases resolve on their own within a year. Red bumps can also be due to folliculitis or enlarged hair follicles. These are only possibilities. Seeking the opinion of a primary care physician will be helpful. I hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
