Incontinence problems (poor or no bladder control) can be physiological and caused
by a number of medically related factors, i.e. weakened sphincter muscles... as Jhnmarton noted above; sometimes the bladder drops also known as a "prolapse bladder;" and, there are some medications that have a diuretic effect and seemingly keep us "running to the bathroom" all of the time.
There can also be psychological issues behind bed wetting... that typically happens when one is in the unconscious and/ or subconscious state (deep sleep) and, is often accompanied or triggered by an underlying stress/ emotional factor.
So, it's really hard to say why you're wetting the bed.
Is this only recent? Or, has this been going on for a long time?
Anyway, I think that a consultation with a doctor might help you to gain some perspective on this... and rest assured that there are medications available which can help with bladder control issues.
As for diapers? Well, that's up to you. There are pads available called Chux (sp?) not sure of the spelling but it's pronounced just like, Chucks. And, those pads can be spread over the bed sheet. They work like diapers... only, you don't have to wear them.
But, do consider going to a doctor for this. Take care.

Have you seen a doctor regarding the issue? what did he say?

Something might be wrong with your urinary sphincter the muscle which controls release of the urine. Also some medicines may cause this as a side-effect.
