Small bumps on my penis (not std)

ok well for as long as i can remember i have had many little bumps on the underside of my penis. ive never had sex and i dont think it is an STD. ive heard of other people that have them, but they don't know what it is. they are not big like herpes or warts. they are little round bumps, and every once and a while a white head will form. they do not itch, hurt, or irritate in any way, im just worried about what my partner will think. any suggestions on what it is? it is just tiny little bumps, usually same color as the skin.

Chris,

This is very common. It is actually from the oil glands in your penis and they are more or less pimples. The bumps are permanent.

I had my first sexual experience at a very young age and I hadnt noticed the bumps on my penis until afterwards. When they didnt go away I went to my dermatologist thinking they were an STD and he confirmed they were not. Later that week, I had showed my brother who was in med school and he said the same thing. Her it is 30 years later and I still have the bumps and have known several people/friends that do too. I have never had any real white head form, but that may mean you have an over abundance of oil production.  At any rate, there is nothing wrong with you and you are not alone.
