anal irritation

I recently started dating the guy I'm with and we had anal sex. He's not extremely big but we didn't use much lubrication. The next day I was hurt really bad to the point of waddling and not being able to sit down even. It hurt to even cough or laugh. I looked at it with a mirror and found that I was raw from not using lube. Raw to the point of I could see where skin had beeen rubbed off. I talked to a few of my friends and one adviced me to put vasaline on is and it should heal in a few days. Id been using diaper rash cream prior to that and it did nothing. Its been almost a week and I'm still pretty sore. I haven't had anal sex since but have had intercourse up until 4 days ago. Is there anything that I can do to make this heal any faster? It hurts so bad I can't even have a bm without bleeding and after the bm it burns because of bacteria, but I do clean it to make sure it doesn't get infected. Any advice?

P.S.
Avoid constipation – this is very important. Keep your faeces soft by eating lots of bran cereals, fruit and vegetables.
Smear some painkilling gel around the area THAT'S THE PREPARATION H just before you have your bowels open. It will prevent the anus going into a spasm, which can make the problem worse. Do not use the gel at any other time, or for more than 1 week, because you can easily develop an allergy to its ingredients. If you notice soreness and itching, in addition to the sharp pain, it is quite likely that the gel is responsible.
Put a handful of ordinary kitchen salt into the bath.
You should see your doctor if the problem is not improving after 3 weeks.

Warm bath with Epsom salts works nicely too.

Make sure whatever cream you're using is antibacterial (diaper rash cream should be). Those cuts and scrapes are essentially open wounds and its very easy to get an infection. So try the warm baths and the creams but if it doesn't clear up or if it gets worse then you need to get it checked out by a doctor because if an infection takes hold "down there" it can get out of control in a big BIG hurry.

you're playing with fire! try preparation H instead of Vaseline. also do a sitz bath is a warm water bath used for healing or cleansing purposes. You sit in the bath. The water covers only the hips and buttocks.
