yaa u should test for u n your husband sperm counts.
How long have you been trying for? And how long are your cycles usually?
If you don't already, you need to be tracking your cycles to see when you ovulate. Most women ovulate mid cycle. So for example, those who have a 28 day cycle, will most likely ovulation around cycle days 13-15(average being 14).
There are many ways you can track ovulation. BBT (basil body tracking) and OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) are the most effective way of tracking when you ovulate. You need to be having intercourse every other day (not every day) leading up till ovulation, and then have it on the day you think you ovulated and then again the day after to ensure you're maximising your chances.
If you've been trying for over a year with no success, you should see a doctor and have fertility testing done to make sure all is well reproductive wise with you and your husband.
