low libido

hi all hope all is well,,,im 37 male no problems with sex,,i have bad back and lost job to this so on anti depressants,but now lost libido i think sex but not happening like it used to,,,wondered if any1 knew of any libido enhancers herbal to help with this as losing confidence by the hour,,,,althought all the tablets im on are helping back probs,frustration need to feel good again as feeling at moment useless,,,,used toi have sex twice a day now once a week if that any help is welcome and appriated thankyou

hi friend thanks for reply this is very true read up on anti's can cause low libido and delay which is great for the  women :] hehe he wont change antis but thats a great idea taking AT night normally im on zopiclone sleeping tablets also 1 a night but these anti knock me out for hour or so so might try to use them instead of sleepers

I would say that it is probably due to your antidepressants. This is one of the side effects when taking it. They do not keep you from having sex, the do make you have a low libido, and when you do have sex, it can take you longer to reach orgasm.

My doctor suggested that I take them at night right before I go to sleep. That way if I plan on having sex it will go alot easier. If this in not an option for you, I would ask my doctor about maybe taking Cialis or another ed drug. They work great and can help conteract the libido issue that the antidepressants cause.
