how effective are patches as a prevention method of pregnancy
I was on the patches & i started experiencing leg pains. I used the for about a year & never got pregnant~even when I forgot to change it. I found the best place for mine was on my lower abdomen area. ( i had a c section so it was right there by that scar) It worked well for not getting pregnant, my only concern was the numbness in my legs....so if it sticks & no numbness I say go ahead! those are alot easier than trying to remember to take a pill everyday at the same time!
They take longer to become effective, and they easily come off.
I would use pills instead of patches...they're easier to take and they don't come off.
