sexual pain

ok this is quite hard to explain, i had a baby 6 years ago and before that i never had any problems durings sex but ever since i gave birth i got ripped slightly but was never stitched up, it's never gone back to normal and i've had pain whenever i have sex, it feels as though its ripping me up inside but there dosent seem to be any tears or anything that are visable it mainly just swells up and hurts for a few hours, sometimes up to days after. i've been to the doctor and they said everythigns fine ive been tested for all sti's and seemingly theres nothing wrong but there must be because it still hurts, i just don't know what to do and its ruining my relationship.
any help would be very much apreciated
thanks

Yes. The hormones released in childbirth can last for years after the baby is born, and some of these hormones are linked to vaginal dryness. As for the vaginal tear, you should take it easy, and not be as rough. Use a lot of lubricant and be very gentle. A vaginal tear can take months to heal.

Have you tried using lubricants yet?  After a baby you can lose alot of your vaginal fluids.  Having sex while dry will cause a ton of pain.  If you've been checked out but, don't trust what they're telling you, try another doctor.
