I am wondering can you get the little bit of extra skin cut off your vagina? can a gyn do iy for you? im really self consious about it=( thats the only problem I have I am clean and have never in my life had any discharge or odor which is good I just don'y like the extra skin their it bothers me

Vaginal cosmetic surgery is becoming more popular.  Vaginal lip reduction or labiaplasty is typical after giving vaginal births and is done by a cosmetic surgeon specializing in vaginal surgeries, not the obgyn.  There could be side effects such as loss of feeling and scar tissue that can interrupt sexual pleasure.  

What's surprising is that most men aren't bothered by enlarged vaginal lips (as seen above) as women are, so you shouldn't feel embarassed by it especially at 20 yrs of age.

I agree!  How many people are going to look there? the risk of infection there is quite high!

Technically, a surgeon can remove excess tissue, but there are more risks than rewards, in my opinion.  You could have complications such as bleeding, infection, pain, loss of feeling, scar tissue, or even disfigurement. It's much better to accept things as they are.
