Why not use condoms? They are not invasive and unless you have a reaction to latex ( some people do) they are healthy and very effective. I don't know about the copper IUD and yeast- although I have no reason to doubt your doctor- but I do know that the new condoms are thin , and while not as invisible as these other kinds of contraception, a lot easier on your body than many of them. Anyhow- just a though...
The IUD can increase the risk of infections such as yeast and bacterial vaginosis. I've had my share of problems with oral contraceptives. Doesn't it suck being a woman?
I have the IUD and yes it sucks, sad but true. i could not figure out why i always felt that not so fresh feeling lol.... until i read a article about it in womens mag. anyway, i am about ready to get it taken out and if all else fails, there are other ways to be safe....
