Masturbation Links To Anxiety

Hello Everyone,

I'm a 25 year old white male.  For a long time, my general state of health was quite good and still is aside from my overwhelming stress, anxiety and panic.  I've been masturbating since about the age of 14 on a basis of at least once per day for the most part.  In the past year or two, I've started to think that my habit of practicing this activity has contributed heavily to my emotional and mental instability in relation to the above mentioned.  Some of my regular symptoms include but may not be limited to: general anxiety, panic attacks, faintness / lightheadedness during panic, hair loss / thinning hair, eye floaters, infrequent palpitations, lower back pain, irritability, high sensitivity, headaches, flushed sensations, nocturnal panic / jolting awake, etc.  Many times after I masturbate at night, I get the nocturnal panic stuff happening towards the morning jolting me awake and freaking me out.  It's not a mental thing.  I know that there are obvious ties to hormones and maybe even hormonal imbalances that can be attributed to stimulating oneself and the release of semen.  Can someone please clarify some of this and let me know their thoughts on possible ties between the two?

Also, not trying to discriminate, but as a woman there is no possible way that you can't ever feel how I feel if my assumptions are even halfway accurate in my symptoms being relevant.  You need to take into account that moderation is not the same for everyone and that's if we want to go as far as making the claim that masturbation is perfectly healthy.  Anything done excessively is something to be skeptical about when considering overall health.

Anyway, thanks again but it's painfully obvious to me that we don't and can't see eye to eye on this topic.  That said, I just ask that you are more sensitive to males with conditions that you have not had and cannot ever have.

I'm misinformed?  So my own body is lying to me?  This has nothing to do with guilt whatsoever.  It simply occurred to me one day that the way I feel can most easily be attributed to the habit of masturbation.  That was when I started to analyze and observe everything somewhat thoroughly in order to try to gain a fair understanding of what was going on.

Also, you might claim this and that but all you really need to do in order to know what there are links between masturbation and anxiety is conduct the simplest of Google searches.  There are hundreds upon thousands of males, very much alike myself, who suffer from most or all of the same symptoms and sometimes even ones that seem far worse in severity.  The argument that they all simply feel guilty or are misinformed and therefore develop anxiety strikes me as all but likely.

Do you have any thoughts regarding Chinese (Oriental medicine) and Indian (Ayurvedic medicine) viewpoints on masturbation?  Both seem to see it as a flawed habit at best - and one that needs to be carefully controlled if practiced at all.  Are you able to tell enlighten as pertains to why they're mistaken?

Either way, I appreciate your response.  I just wish that you weren't so set one one-side without a hint of consideration for what a person feels upon having studied the effects of this on themselves and having done boatloads of research to back up the fact that their symptoms aren't unfounded in relevance to it all.
