What is going on...

About 4 months ago sex started hurting very bad for some reason. The only other thing I have noticed is I have a small red spot down there kind of off to the side. It just feels like a small cut and I only notice it after I have had to wear a panty liner for a few days. And after I stop wearing them it goes away, so I figured it was an allergic reaction to the liner. But sex still hurts. I am starting to think I am just imagining things. This problem is starting to hurt mine and my boyfriends relationship of 4 years. I dont know what to do! Can someone help?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

It could be allergic- it could also be herpes- that looks like a little cut , or feels like a surface cut, but really is an small ulceration of the wall of the vagina.  I would go see a gynecologist over this, get tested for herpes , hpv- things like that- to know whether or not your pain is attached to a sexually transmitted disease-- or perhaps just a condition, like yeast or bacteriosis that is easily treatable but can cause pain during intercourse if not attended to..

No one can diagnose what's happening from this far- and I am not qualified- since I am not a gynecologist or medical doctor. But I can tell you that you need to get it looked at- and at least rule some possible explanations out.

I had a simpler problem, except I never had the red spot. For 2 years it hurt to have sex. I finally went to the doctor and found out that I have endometriosis. You should look up the symptoms online and see if this might be what

Are you experiencing pain where the sore is? I think that "bump" is an allergic reaction to the panti liners. I am curious as to where you are actually feeling pain?

Maybe that will help. Because I've noticed it doesnt ALWAYS hurt. Just most of the time. Just have to fuss at the boyfriend and make him be more romantic.

That'll get him right in the mood for romance, being fussed at!

This info may help. If a woman is not aroused (turned on) enough, her cervix will stay in the way and get "bumped" during sex which cna be very painful. When a woman gets aroused , during foreplay for example, her cervix will move up and out of the way. Try foreplay and see if that helps.

Sounds like it's time for a trip to the gyno for a check up.  Is there any discharge or odor?
