cumming dream

I am posting this here because couldn't find another section that will be appropiate to post this, I hope it is.

I want to know about something that happened to me.  Last night I had a dream where I was getting a hand job and ********.  Then in the dream I also got to ***.  When I was cumming in the dream I woke up.  To my surprise I found out when I woke up that I had actually came in reality.  I know this becuase my underwear was wet and also the top of the head of the penis sticky.

I want to know and educate myself on how come this is possible.  As I can remember/recall this has never happened to me.  If it had in the past, I don't remember at all.

I have heard about something call "wet dreams" but I thought that was something that can only happen during the teenage years.  I am now 32 years old.

Thanks for taking the time and reading this and respond regarding this.  I would like to know about this and educate myself.  I know it might sound "silly" or something like that but I was always told that there is no stupid question.  The only stupid question is the one that is never asked.   Thanks !

Hello.

Sleep orgasms--or wet dreams--are common throughout our lives. Some people only have them during adolescence, while others have them in adulthood, and vice versa. So stop worrying. There's nothing amiss here.

Your body is responding to hormonal surges during your sleep cycle, as well as emotional and/or psychological triggers. Relax and enjoy your sexuality for what it is: unique to you. Dr. J
