concerned about intense orgasms

VL_
I have extremely intense orgasms and am concerned about them. I'll explain what happens (a lot of the description will be based on the observations of my boyfriend as I am unaware of most of what happens with my body during the orgasm) and then pose my questions/concerns… First of all, my breathing apparently becomes irregular, my body and extremities tense, and then just before the orgasm hits I can’t hear anything (except for a white-noise rushing water-like sound). Once the orgasm hits I see colors, hear sounds, and am taken over by intensely pleasurable rapid warm waves of tingling tickling “electricity” throughout my body (starting from my vagina and quickly spreading throughout my entire body). During this time my boyfriend says that my body goes into rapid-hyper speed convulsions and often arches/rises up off of the bed (I have no idea what happens during all of this). He says that my face turns red and it looks like I am being electrocuted. I sometimes apparently move around a lot during the episode. Once everything subsides, he often continues what he was doing (whether intercourse or oral sex) which, while I am usually almost unbearably too tickly tingly sensitive at first, if I can hold on and make it through this transition, I often have another orgasm soon after. To repeat, most of what I am describing is based on my boyfriend’s observations as, aside from the sounds, colors, and feelings, I have no idea what is going on with my body during orgasm. All I know is that it is an intensely pleasurable experience for me. My boyfriend loves the fact that he can give me such pleasure but he is scared that I am going to pass out at some point. He, and the few other past lovers who were also able to achieve providing me with orgasms this extreme, all have told me that they have never seen such intense orgasms before in any woman that they have slept with… which makes me feel like a freak and wonder if there is something wrong with me or if I should be concerned in any way. For example, should I be worried that I may really pass out or if what is happening is actually some sort of (albeit pleasurable) seizure? Or is what I am experiencing normal and they (or I, in speaking w/female friends) simply just haven’t run into (or spoken with) enough women who would describe the same events.

Most women worry about NOT having orgasms, and now you're worried about what KIND of orgasms you have? I wish women wouldn't stress about being like everyone else, etc. We're each unique, and we each experience orgasm differently. There is no "right" way; only what works for you.

Relax and enjoy your own body and the pleasure it brings you. If you're worried about passing out from lack of breath, you might try doing some deep breathing during self-pleasuring to see if you can add in some more respiration during orgasm, but it's certainly not a requirement--more like an experiment.

And stop worrying. Dr. J

You both are very lucky, it is very normal just not very common outside of erotica for someone to have that perfect of an orgasm.
