Could I be pregnant? Is this even possible? Please answer!!!

First of all let me just say i am a virgin! I haven't had a penis penetrate me ever. Now..... Me and my boyfriend were fooling around in our underwear. What I mean by that is i was in my underwear and he was in his boxers. We only rubbed up against each other a couple of times and his penis didn't penetrate. I was wet and he said he had a little sperm on him. I didn't see any sperm on me but is it possible that his sperm could of traveled through his boxers and then through my underwear and into my vagina ? Oh and I am also having lower left abdominal pain and my breast hurt but im supposed to be starting my period soon but could I be pregnant ? Please no stupid answers I really am scared and so his my boyfriend and we plan to be more careful in the future!

It is highly unlikely to get pregnant that way because usually our semen dies when exposed in open air. But it is also somewhat possible if his boxer had a opening in front and if he had a pre-mature ejaculation which could've gotten on ur underwear before it was exposed into open. So as the Dr. stated above, get a pregnancy test, but don't worry about it so much!

Good Luck

Hello.

I don't know how to give stupid answers, so an unsure as to what you expect. It sounds as though you want a guarantee that you're not pregnant, and I can't give you one. If what you've told me is a comprehensive description, then the chances of pregnancy are very low; however, there are no guarantees. If you want to be totally sure you're not pregnant, go to the pharmacy now and ask the pharmacist for emergency contraception.

And please check out the birth control section of this site so that you can learn about how pregnancy can be avoided in the future. Best of luck to you. Dr. J

You have been misinformed. Sperm exposed to air on clothing, bed linens or toilet seats lose mobility (the ability to swim) rapidly. However, they do not die immediately, but only when the semen dries out (2-3 hours).
