Odor after sex

My husband & I have been married for 22 years...in the past week we had sex twice.  The first time i noticed a very bad smell after we were done.  Almost like a very strong anal smell. Not fishy. After i use the bathroom & wash up, sometimes there is still a bit of semen that i get in my panties & that stinks real bad too.  I've read about BV & i don't think that is the case, however I did make a Dr appt to be sure. I've also read that it could be a prostate problem ?  I am very concerned obvoiusly and he tends to think it's me that smells.  The last time he couldn't ejaculate either, but he has had alot of stress lately.  Any ideas ?  I have been reading all day & can't come up with a logical answer.

Hello.

A change in vaginal or semen odor can be an indication of an infection. One indication of prostate infection is strong seminal odor. Your husband should see a urologist ASAP. Dr. J

Not an STD but if your husband has an infection he could give it to you. He can get them and its not because hes cheated or anything. or vice versa. i didnt mean to say you had an STD. im sorry

Does it burn when you urinate? you could have an STD or it could be BV possibly. But the only way to tell for sure is to get checked
