I just told you: the ring is 99% effective if used properly.

Its like this we've been together for 6 years and are getting married soon, so I guess she's not really my GF, more like fiance/ wife. I'm not really concerned if she gets pregnant, as we are trying to prevent it but if it happens that's fine to our mothers can't wait for grand kids.  I guess what I'm asking is what are the odds.

The Nuva Ring is as effective as oral contraceptives (“the pill”)—99% if used properly.

The more important question is why would you ejaculate inside your girlfriend when that means exposing her (and yourself) to any number of pathogens which can cause everything from herpes to warts to disease and/or infection?

If you’re old enough to be having penis-vagina sex, you’re old enough to take responsibility not only for pleasure, but for safety. Use a barrier method such as condoms along with Nonoxynol-9 to protect both of you. Play hard and play safe. Dr. J
