White pimple like bumps on head of penis???

My Husband has small white bumps on the head of his penis or rim of penis. They itch when he is too hot and sweats. they have bween there for 2-3 years now. What could they be?

Before you say a STD, let me just say that, my hasband has never been with any other person, I was his first only  and he was my first and only, . It also hasnt been transfered to me at all. Having said that Could you shed some light on what these bumps could be? Hubby is thinking a yeast infection...But a yeast infection lasting years without causing complications???

Hello.

It could be one of many conditions, diseases or infections--or it could be nothing other than ingrown hairs or an allergy to soap or other irritant. In other words, how can anyone know what it is without an examination? If you and your husband are concerned, he should see a urologist for a diagnosis.

Itchy little bumps might also be from a simple irritation or they may be a herpes outbreak. Herpes can be dormant for many years prior to an outbreak, and many people don't even know they have it. Ask your husband to see a physician for an exam to be sure. Dr. J
