is there an old illness thats making a come back in the chickenpox family?

I have a rash that's lasted for weeks its fluid filled blisters that itch really bad at first.

I agree that this sounds like shingles.  Here is information to review on it https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/shingles/symptoms-causes/syc-20353054   Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster virus — the same virus that causes chickenpox. After you've had chickenpox, the virus lies inactive in nerve tissue near your spinal cord and brain. Years later, the virus may reactivate as shingles.  They have medication for it which most opt for as it is very painful.  Please see your doctor.
