Age Related Sinus Pain?

First timer here. I'm a 61 year old male, pretty fit and healthy, however...

Most mornings I wake up with an uncomfortable but mild, headache-like pain around the forehead region above my eyes which is my idea of what I think sinus pain may be like. My sinuses feel dry, not stuffed up. After I'm up and about, it generally goes away quite quickly. I use a nose / sinuses squirting saltwater wash in the mornings too, out of habit. It may be helping.

I'm told by friends this morning pain may be my sinuses drying out as an age-related thing, but why does t go away when I'm up and about? What can I do? Please help.
