CHRONIC NEVER ENDING SINUS PROBLEMS

I have had chronic sinus problems my entire life. I am 48, female, normal weight. No other health problems. Every few months, usually 2-3 months, I get a sinus infection. About 6 weeks ago woke up with horrible headache. After a week and I went to Dr. Dr prescribed Augmentin and steroids. Really did not help at all. The pain is above and below my left eye if you are facing me and along my nose and head. Under my eye and radiates down towards mouth and jaw. Went to dentist for normal checkup last week he said all looks good with my teeth. Went to ENT Friday and he looked at my old CT Scan from last July. I had sinus surgery on my right side years ago but all my pain is on my left side.  Dr did scope up the nose and states he sees some post nasal but nothing that would scream sinus infection. He then proceeds to tell me maybe I am starting with Migraines or early Multiple Sclerosis. No offense, but Dr is bat **** crazy. I have no other signs that would deem I may have either disorder. The pain when bad is an 8 on a scale of 1-10. I slept pretty much entire holiday weekend as the pain is so bad. I feel horrible pressure above my eye and it just makes me want to sleep. Anyone else have this issue? Nothing helps. Not Allegra D, not nasal steroids, not decongestant, nothing. Dr did not schedule another Cat Scan or anything. Just sent me on my way.

Try a Flip-Turn Sinus Flush, which uses gravity to get to infections in the upper sinuses, rather than fighting gravity like other saline rinses have to do.  If it doesn't work, then you can eliminate sinus infection as a cause of your problem, which is some progress

I am a fellow sinusitis sufferer, about the same age. I have still not found a complete cure but I can share some of my research and personal experience.

- the key to curing sinus issues according to Ayurveda is to develop strong digestive fire. Some tips - consume raw ginger slices a few times a day, ingest top quality probiotics and prebiotics, cleanse digestive track now and again through fiber rich foods, enemas, etc.
- serrapeptase helps, if your digestion is weak buy a delayed release formula
- load up on magnesium and potassium. Inflammation is not compatible with ample magnesium stores in tissues. Most people are deficient. Buy bulk magnesium and potassium citrate powders, and make your own electrolyte drinks twice a day. Cell salts or liquid minerals are also good.
- dissolve biofilm with nasal sprays like xlear (xylitol is a key component) or sinupulse irrigator that pumps a solution of water, saline packets, Povidone Iodine Prep Solution and/or xylitol or baking soda.
- stay away from drafty windows, especially overnight while sleeping. Open window just a little and ensure drafts are not passing over your body.
- break sweat somehow every day, e.g. by exercising 20 minutes a day on a stationary bike, running, etc.

Try these things. To rely on a doctor to solve your issue is unrealistic. Everything is interconnected, so it's a good idea to view your health holistically.
